Score:

Controversiality is a score from 0 to 10 where 0 is the least controversial and 10 is the most. It takes into account both public opinion and expert opinion.

Public:

This can be the general consensus of the public excluding experts. People with general knowledge that don’t know much about the topic.

Expert:

Experts in the field that have much more knowledge than average.

Delta:

A value between 0 and 1 that sets the relative importance of public opinion versus expert opinion
